Alex Mandli & Diane Washa
Mandli's vessels have a soft, smokey surface which perfectly compliment the gestural elegance and muted palette of Washa's plein air paintings. Her newest work is inspired by the harmony and grace found in Wisconsin's Watersheds. Mandli's work reflects over thirty years of experience with the saggar fire process. He creates an environment of combustible materials that use fire as a painter uses a brush.
